YOUR DATA, YOUR RULES

Privacy Policy

Dopamine World, Inc. (“Dopamine,” “we,” or “us”) provides concert-history, taste-discovery, social music identity, Taste Passport, fan-program, and artist Studio features. This policy explains how we handle personal data.

Data we collect

We collect account and profile details you provide, such as username, display name, coarse city, optional contact details, privacy choices, and fan-program consent. We also process data you choose to connect or add, including listening-profile data, concert and event history, purchase and reservation records, social connections, interactions, and support communications.

If you connect Gmail, we request read-only access and inspect likely purchase, ticket, travel, and restaurant-reservation confirmations only for the date range and options you approve. See our Google Data Use disclosure for exact details.

How we use data

We use data to authenticate and secure accounts; build the private and public views you select; find and normalize purchase and event records; calculate taste and affinity insights; provide discovery, social, fan-program, reward, and Studio features; operate support; prevent abuse; and comply with law.

Visibility and artist programs

Imported records are private by default. You control profile and Taste Passport visibility. A verified artist or its authorized team receives only the fields allowed by the separate, artist-specific fan-program purposes you select. Gmail-derived receipt signals require their own opt-in and are never used to choose campaign recipients. Raw email, account email, order numbers, barcodes, exact addresses, and full receipt contents are not exposed in Studio.

Friend recommendations use only genres you enter, concerts you add manually, event choices you make inside Dopamine, and artists you actively like in Dopamine's artist deck. Artist passes are retained to prevent repeated cards but are not treated as positive taste signals. Gmail-derived records are excluded. Taste discovery and artist audience matching are separate controls and default to off. Studio cannot access individual friend-matching information.

Service providers and disclosures

We use contracted infrastructure, authentication, communications, monitoring, and approved processing providers to operate Dopamine. They may process data only for us under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data when you direct us to, for legal or safety reasons, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to applicable notice and protections. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or retargeting, provide it to data brokers, use it for credit decisions, or train general-purpose AI models with it.

Text messaging and mobile information

When you separately choose to receive a text message, we process the mobile number you provide, the time and version of your consent, the web form used to provide it, the applicable artist or program, and content-free delivery status. An artist Prove It signup request sends one message per request containing the requested signup link. Other optional Dopamine or artist-program text messages require their own consent and may have a varying frequency. Message and data rates may apply.

You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Text-message consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. We use communications providers, including Twilio, only to transmit and operate messages for us. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.

Retention and security

We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide requested features. Complete Gmail message bodies and attachment contents are processed transiently and are not intentionally retained. Derived imported records remain until you delete imported mailbox data or your account, subject to narrowly limited legal, security, and backup retention. We use access controls, encryption for provider credentials and sensitive contact values, logging restrictions, and purpose-based authorization.

Your choices

In Settings you can disconnect integrations, pause Gmail synchronization, delete imported mailbox data, export account data, change visibility, manage fan-program consent, leave a fan program, or delete your account. You can also reply STOP to text messages or disconnect your phone number. Deleting Gmail-derived data recomputes affected Studio insights. Revoking a fan-program purpose removes that use going forward.

Children, changes, and contact

Dopamine is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@dopamine.xyz.
